A to Z of Normal by Helen Barbour

This  is first book I have reviewed and I hope it is start of many more as you know my Blogs have been mostly Beauty but I  want to do more health and lifestyle products.

Helen Barbour got in touch with me to read her book which is a perfect holiday read and as it so happens I was on holiday when she sent me the copy.

I must admit I don't read as much as I would like due to time but that isn't excuse so hear we go I would describe this book as lifestyle with romance mixed in and tackles obsessive compulsive disorder which a lot of people live with this mental disorder.

It's main character Clare loves her boyfriend Tom but takes courage to admit that she has a secret eventually she lets him know thinking she isn't good enough all the way through you really want her to work through this. Her relationship with her other family members is like any other family we all have issues or arguments but at the end of the day they are family.
She lost her Mother when she was young and her sister brought her up and her father went into himself.

Sound abit depressing but the way Helen writes it has moments of humour and gives you a greater understanding of OCD.

This book is available on Amazon here are the links amazon.co.uk/Z-Normal-Helen

Order through all good book shops ISBN number 978-78132-3816

Worth picking up and reading and I would read it again as it is escapism and you never know what secrets people have behind closed doors and that's what makes a good story.

  1. Thanks for this, Jane! Just to say, though, that the ISBN and Amazon link are both incomplete. The ISBN is 978-1-78132-3816. The link is a bit long to post in full here, but if people search on Amazon (worldwide!) for 'The A to Z of Normal', it will come up. Thanks again.
